Does anyone have a picture of their bimini tops folded up into the sock?

Thanks!

For my 342, the aft portion folded back like the 270 above. The forward part I' leave the framing attached and wrap it forward if that makes sense ( not. against the arch).

Raybo: how'd you get that to work?  Maybe a different support mounting, mine comes no where near to doing that without hanging out the sides 6+ inches.

BD you need to "squeeze" the poles in to the arch where the little white thumb screws are. This would be the middle poles. the back poles fold to the middle one and the middle one to the arch. My boat runs much better with the canvas folded. Faster and better gas milage. PM if this does not help and I can walk you through it on the phone....

Next question....do you leave your bimini top rolled into the sock during the winter under the shrink wrap or do you store it indoors?

I clean and store the glass flat and clean the canvas and just fold it up.... You can leave it right in the cabin of the boat with no problem.

I never store my canvas in the cabin - spiders love to hide out all over that canvas and putting spiders in the cabin - (shudder) - is not a good idea for us!

Well I wash my top and hang it out to dry. Fold it up and store it. Never ever a problem....

I second what RV said, TJ (boattech01) is a great guy to deal with for canvas, his prices were cheaper and the canvas was a better quality than anything else I was able to find.

TJ was great to work with, bought new camper canvas from him last year. Cheapest price you will find.

Very nice canvas pic J. It sure looks better than when I saw it. :D
    .
We put ours up far more often than I would have thought and it's great to have on those marginal days.
